School transport will run at the earlier time of 2.10 pm. Please ensure you have made any necessary arrangements for your child. The 104 to Newfield, (now operated by Rural Link), will operate at the normal time.

Unlimited access to over 7,000 enhanced digital books

The DofE students will be starting to go out on Expeditions over the next term. Due to Covid restrictions the DofE have allowed groups to complete the award without the camping element to try and support school. This year we will have 3 x Bronze groups and 4 x Silver groups going out on local expeditions, a total of 163 students.
Due to Year 9 Progress Evening taking place on Thursday, 20 May and Year 8 Progress Evening taking place on Thursday, 27 May 2021 school will finish at 2.00pm on both dates.

Well done to Imogen, Alice and Rebekah who read in Durham Cathedral last night for the Evensong: The Celebration of a Royal Life, The Duke of Edinburgh. Everyone commented on how amazing the girls read and what stunning ambassadors they were for St John's.



As we enter Holy Week we’d like to share with you the liturgy which allowed our staff and students to pray together the day we broke up for the Easter holidays. Together we reflected on the final moments leading up to Christ’s sacrifice for us. The liturgy also contains an Easter message from Fr Dennis Tindall
We are pleased to officially announce the winners of this year's House Art Competition. The exhibition, which was based on the theme of "Hope", was moved online this year due to Covid restrictions and was a fantastic showcase of the artistic talents of our students. In the early stages of the competition we received hundreds of entries from across all key stages, with a huge variety in terms of media and interpretation.
