After the elation of finding out the results today Mrs Byron has shared some words,

"This year's GCSE results are excellent and we are extremely proud of all of our Year 11 students.  Their successes are particularly impressive when we consider the changes to the exam system which have resulted in courses becoming more challenging in terms of content and assessment.

Obviously the biggest changes have been in English and Maths with GCSEs demanding more from students and with a new grading system of 9-1 to consider.

We are delighted to have achieved  fabulous results in English, Maths and many other subjects and such results reflect the hard work and perseverance of our wonderful students as well as the exceptional work of our subject specialists and support staff, who have all gone the extra mile to ensure that our young people fulfil their potential and realise their dreams."
