St John’s Year 8 boys are County Durham Level 3 Sportshall Athletics Champions. 29th March at the Louisa Centre, Stanley.

The Year 7 Netball Team won 6 games and drew 1 resulting in 1st place in the South West Durham Netball Tournament.
They were outstanding and played so well together as a team.

Yesterday, a group of lower school (y7 and y8) students went on a visit to GSK at Barnard Castle with Mr Moore, Miss Dunbar and Miss Oakden. This is the start of a 10 week project the science club are doing in collaboration with industrial partners to design an 'eco factory'. Other schools around the local area are also competing in the competition which will be judged by GSK in June.

The Employability Day returns to Bishop Auckland Rugby Club on 27 March.

The Employability Day is a chance for 16 to 18-year-olds to connect with local and global businesses, giving them a better understanding of how to approach their career search, present themselves and their skills with confidence, and explore opportunities.
