Londonderry Cup Final
Despite losing in the final of the Londonderry Cup last night, the Year 10 boys football team were an absolute credit to the school. They put absolutely everything into the game and are naturally disappointed with the outcome of the match. At 3-2 the match could have gone either way, but St Joseph’s strength shone through resulting in them winning 5-2. The boys were a pleasure to take to such a wonderful venue and their conduct, both on and off the field, was fantastic. If you see them around school today please congratulate them on their efforts as it was a great achievement to get that final in the first place, beating the National champions along the way. They need to remain positive as we are playing King James tonight in another cup fixture as well as Sunnydale on Monday!
