Year 13 assembly - Four Y13 History students who went to Auschwitz with the Holocaust Memorial Trust are delivering the main assembly next week. They will link up their experiences with Holocaust MemoriaL Day which is on Friday 27th January. Year 9 History students - A group of Y9 students will visit Durham Cathedral on Holocaust Memorial Day to participate in workshops on the Holocaust. In the afternoon they will listen to the moving story of a Holocaust survivor, Rudi Oppenheimer. We also have a new History club for KS3 which is Wednesday lunchtime with Miss Quinn in History 3. Students will be looking at Music and film in History as well as making models of things like Castles.
