'Make a Noise about bullying'

Year 8 and Year 9 students had a fantastic trip to Sorrento in Italy. They had the opportunity to visit amazing places like Pompeii and Herculaneum, to learn about the life of the Romans and how he 79AD eruption destroyed the cities. They also visited the crater of Mt Vesuvius and the volcanic caldera of Solfatara to see the fumaroles and mud pools.

Our Adventure began with 41 students all packed and eager to start their final assessed expedition around the picturesque landscape of beautiful Middleton-in-Teesdale. This involved two days walking with a total of 24 kilometers over some of the most spectacular scenery in the country. Undulating hills, meandering rivers and pretty cobblestone villages all helped to make it a challenging but enjoyable route for all.

We are delighted to inform you that our new 3G pitch is very close to completion. This will be a fantastic facility for our curriculum, extra-curricular provision and wider community.

All students will be using the 3G pitch as part of the curriculum and therefore will require the appropriate footwear to use on it.

Any of the following are suitable for the 3G pitch; moulded trainer, astro trainer or plastic studded boots
