In separate age group tournaments both teams performed extremely well in order to achieve silver medal place. Year 8 in particular played a nail biting semi - final against Teasdale which went to extra time due to a tie at the full time whistle. The girls remained calm and work together as a team to score the first goal which enabled them to qualified for the final against Greenfield.

St John's students in Years 7-9, had the privilege and pleasure to see "In Hindsight" perform this week. The three piece pop/rock band entertained three packed performance halls of students with e-safety and cyberbullying advice. The band performed some of their own material and some covers.
