GCSE Statistics

GCSE Statistics

The GCSE in Statistics qualification develops skills that students will use in other subjects such as science and geography, and reinforces techniques needed for GCSE maths as well as supporting progression to A level maths. The content covered for this qualification includes: The collection of data, Processing, representing and analysing data and Probability. Real-life scenarios are used to capture students interest and give them an insight into the importance of statistics in the real world.   GCSE Statistics has two tiers, Higher and Foundation, both of which are assessed by two written exams at the end of Year 11.
