The Music Department would like to congratulate a number of musicians on recently passing their Music Grade Examinations.

SAM Learning is now available in school. The service, which is accessible to all staff and students, covers a wide range of subjects across the curriculum and can be used both in school and at home.

The Year 7 boys and year 8 girls won the Wear Valley Sports Hall athletics comps and went to represent the area in the County Durham Sports Hall Athletics competition on the 17th January. The boy's placed 3rd and the girls 2nd.

Year 13 assembly - Four Y13 History students who went to Auschwitz with the Holocaust Memorial Trust are delivering the main assembly next week.

On the 19th of December, a selection of students represented the Music Department and visited The Butterwick Hospice in Bishop Auckland.  Singers and instrumentalists played a variety of Christmas repertoire to entertain a small group of residents during their Christmas party.
